Every writer needs readers and readers want good writers. As it goes in the saying of George R.R. Martin: “Some writers enjoy writing, I am told. Not me. I enjoy having written.”
Writers are passionate creatures. They want the ideas, experiences and emotions to be shared with readers. A good writer wants to write what readers want. He touches the lives of the readers deeply and works to his heart’s content to create contents that are useful for readers in both ways personally and professionally. Though being a writer appears to be easy on its face and is thought to beadvantageous, but it has its own challenges as well. One of the challenges faced by the writers or bloggers is writing as frequently as possible.
If you take a look at internet, you can see that there are lots of blogs that are updated and also those blogs that are not updated as regularly as possible. In this way, starting a blog seems to be an easy task, but to maintain it by updating regularly is not that easy. It requires an intense desire and dedication.
To some people writing regularly or blogging seems to be a hard task. Being discouraged that they won’t get a good response they stop doing it and consider that blogging is not a thing to be considered as worth doing. At this point, it is important to note that there are people who know that no results will come out in favor of them and there is no guarantee of what might come, still they continue to write, as to them writing is a passion – not just a means of earnings only. As it goes in this saying: “we write every day, we fight every day, we think and scheme and dream a little dream every day. manuscripts pile up in the kitchen sink, run-on sentences dangle around our necks. we plant purple prose in our gardens and snip the adverbs only to thread them in our hair. we write with no guarantees, no certainties, no promises of what might come and we do it anyway. this is who we are.”
It is absolutely true that sometimes you lack ideas, but it does not mean that the journey to a successful writing career or blogging should be stopped. You can continue it by overcoming this problem. One of the best ways is to gain more ideas is reading a lot as it has been pointed out by Stephen King: “If you do not have time to read, you don’t have the time (or the tools) to write. Simple as that”
So, it is better to read a lot to write a lot. When you read and get enough information, your words will flow like a river and you will be able to produce quality contents that might help your readers in all their humble walks of lives. This way, cultivating the habit of writing every day is important to get success in the long run. Thus, an article a day goes a long way by making you a successful writer ultimately.
